Installation of Lyle Locks in the door skin (continued)

This shows the use of the acrylic template to position where the hole goes for the locks. I used a Dremel tool with a rotary cutter to cut out the carbon skin

The clecoes are positioning the plywood pieces that are bonded to the skin with flox, the clamps help keep it tight to the skin.

Completed lock. Sits flush and looks good.

Here is the inside, with the lock "open" and the pins retracted.

and with the lock "closed" and the pin driven out. I get an inch extension on the rear of the door, and ~1.25" extension on the front pin.
