The first thing I did with the main gear was drill the
additional holes for the axle and then have the unit powder coated.
I then positioned and mounted the gear while the fuselage was
upside down.
REMINDER, once the gear is mounted the center of gravity is greatly altered. When turning your fuselage back upright, be prepared to deal with the shifting weight of the gear. |
